Envision Alachua: Planning Commission Chair Explains Weighty Decision
Alachua County Planning Commission Chair Jennifer Springfield acknowledged she was in an agonizing position – casting the deciding vote for or against Plum Creek’s Envision Alachua Sector Plan.
Then she eloquently outlined why she would vote “yes,” resulting in the Planning Commission favoring Envision Alachua 4-2 on Thursday (Nov. 19).
“This offers more promise than anything we’ve ever been presented with and ever will be presented with again,” she said.
