The face of Plum Creek
Plum Creek hired Todd Powell in 2006 to manage its real estate holdings in Florida and allowed him to choose the location for the state headquarters.
"I picked Gainesville because I liked being here the first time," said Powell, who now manages the timber company's real estate throughout the Southeast from his second-floor office in Tioga Town Center in Jonesville.
