City of Hawthorne annexes land to create jobs
One city in Alachua County may soon expand through a deal with a major development corporation in the area.
The City of Hawthorne received an application from Plum Creek to annex more than eleven-hundred acres of land from their urban reserve in June of this year that lies west of US 301.
