It was standing room only Wednesday night as the county’s planning commission heard timber giant Plum Creek’s plans for 52,000-plus acres in Alachua County.
But residents must wait at least another day to learn what will happen next with the plan. Late Wednesday night, the county's planning commission voted to adjourn after more than five hours of presentations and public comment. The panel reconvenes today at 6 p.m. to continue debating the plan's merits.
